We have been selling push carts and pull carts since 1955 when our Dad was a pro at Washtenaw Country Club in Michigan, so we've seen many makes and models come and go. The top players in this market are BagBoy and Sun Mountain. BagBoy has been around about 60 years and continues to innovate it's current products as well as develop new ones. Sun Mountain Mountain is fairly new (they've been in business since 1986), but they have one of the smoothest rolling carts on the market - the Speed Cart V1. Cliqgear just started in 2007 and we really like their product because of the outstanding engineering.
We also compared the Speed Cart V1 to Bag Boy's Automatic and both are excellent products. The Automatic collapses in one movement which is really neat, but in all honesty, the Speed Cart V1 just looks better. If you are a meat & potato person, then the Automatic is for you. If you like grace and style, then the Speed Cart is what you need.
If you want a Bag Boy product that compares fairly well to the Speed Cart, then the Mini GT (which is new this year) is for you. We compared both of these side-by-side at the PGA Merchandise show this year, and we thought both were excellent products.
